I personaly don't know, although if there is then that's a useful feature.

I used to be able to edit my comments/threads, now I can't. I was also wondering why we cant, I've seen VIPs edit their threads

Never mind thanks @7heSw4gCr4ft666 for telling me you need 1,000 posts in order to do it! You can only edit them after 30 minutes sadly if you have posts under that

If you wait too long it the edit button actually goes away. I think
