Hey!
I recently found a "minisode" on Cartoon Network's YouTube channel called "Infinity Train." After watching it, I immediately fell in love and I desperately hope it becomes a real show. Many others have said the same thing - there's an online petition to make it a show, and it's going strong.

Basically, I'm here to share theories with you and open up a place for us all to discuss the minisode and talk about different possible stories! Below are some of my personal theories (ones that I support that have been made by others, as well as one of my own). Beware: there are spoilers below! If you haven't watched the minisode yet, don't go any further!

  • The Steward Car Theory - This theory states that the glowing number on Tulip's hand represents which train car the Steward is in (the Steward is the giant thing with all of the "tentacles" and mask). The evidence supporting this is that the king of the corgis, Atticus, states that the river has been acting strange for a week, which is the same amount of time Tulip's number said "53." After the encounter with the Steward, it left the car, and Tulip's number changed to 49. This could mean that the Steward changed cars very quickly.
  • The Ranking System Theory - This theory attempts to, once again, explain Tulip's number, this time by saying that it's some sort of ranking system. This theory states that Tulip is just one of many people trapped on the Infinity Train and that her number represents how smart she is. After the Steward saw that she made it into the Corgi car, perhaps it thought she was a bit smarter and "updated" her number.
  • The Survivors Theory - This theory is very basic. It states that Tulip's number is one of many 53s - everyone (assuming there are more humans on the train) has the same number on their hand, and it represents how many people on the train are still alive. This might be a bit morbid for a cartoon, so it probably won't be that one.
  • The Car Number Theory - This one is also basic. It just states that Tulip's hand represents which car she's in, and the smaller the number, the fewer cars she'll have to go through to get home.
Let me know what you think below! I personally think any of the three top theories could be correct. The Car Number Theory just seems too simple.

I really love the mystery of this show; the characters are great, and I can't wait to see if this will become a full show!
