Hello everyone, Before I get into my suggestion I would like to say that the adding of /staff is a neat idea and can actually help quite a bit for new and old players to get in contact with staff if they need it.

Now onto the suggestion

Why not add to /staff by making the staff names clickable and it automatically puts /msg (staffmember) depending on who they click will be the staff that it is written down. I feel like this could help out players by making it simple and easy to contact a staff member (you should probably make sure they know they can click on a staff members name to quickly send them a message if they are needed by writing down that it is clickable when you do the command /staff). I can see @Harieo doing 2 things with adding this suggestion.

1: Making it write down the /msg (StaffMemeber) and not the message and have the player write the message.

or

2: When someone clicks on the staff member it send them a message saying "Hey, I need some assistance. Are you able to help me or are you busy at the moment?" or something similar.

How he decides to implement this is all up to him, This is just a suggestion to give an idea on what can be done with the new command, if he so decides to implement it

This command is a great addition to the server and can be edited to make it more helpful and easier to use for players. The only downside I can see from this is someone clicking the wrong name

Thank you all for reading this suggestion.

Sincerely

I really agree with this, because many times when I need help, I have to search if any staff member is online by doing /tell and it make it to long (to much time doing that) but that command will make it easier, for example if they add it to murder the command that send "Hey, I need some assistance. Are you able to help me or are you busy at the moment?" it could be easier than go to lobby, because how many times have happen to you that you can't join the game back but this will make it faster, or how many times you don't remember the player/s names. This could help a lot so for me is a, I agree a lot with you. :D

I love this idea.

I do prefer the first one, although you could just type the first part of the staff members name and click tab.

+1 for the idea though
Not everyone knows they can press tab and such. So this makes it easier for some new players. I have often come across the point when pressing tab for this matter doesn't work even when I'm not lagging so not all keyboards or Minecraft browsers allow it.

That's the one thing about Murder, You can't message anyone because they disabled /tell and /msg to stop ghosting so having this is a great way to get a message out to a staff if they need it and can't afford to leave the game.

I love this idea.

Thank you <3

Thank you all for the positive feedback on the idea.

The first option would be great.

Maybe the second option could be made available in murder only as previously said?

However, there should also be a cooldown on this type of thing, to lower the flood that may happen on staff members.

The first option would be great, but also we should have the hiderank command remove users from the /staff until they re-appear, if not done already.

The is already an option that hides staff from /staff when they are busy. I have talked to Harieo about it already.

This has been suggested before, I do think it is a very helpful idea but there is one little thing that maybe the downfall. Players could abuse this command, as in messaging the staff member for other things instead of using it to report a player or needing help. Maybe if there would be a punishment for the player abusing the command. Besides that, I think it would be a good idea.

Nice idea +1

I think this idea can be split into two sections

It could be for everyone, ranks and normies

Or it could be for just ranks

I think we all know there is an overwhelming population of normies on the server, and some of them may see this and think "staff... staff can do anything! :D staffy come help me build my minecrof hoose11!1!!", not all of them ofcourse, but some of them may use this the wrong way and not even know, not even think about it. If it were for just ranks, it would be easier for staff members because ranks would definitely know what they are doing, making it for ranks factors out all the people who COULD abuse it. Abusing this command is very easy, having one staff member on would make their chat just become HELP! -Clockwork HELP HACKER! -Twixela (because i like your name :D ) etc. If it were just for ranks it could just be a /tell and you write your personal message or choose from a list, which is my second point.

Regardless of if it is for ranks or for all people, normies included, there is the situation where theres something you need assistance with that very second and you don't have the 5 seconds to write "HOCKR IN MURDR COME PLES", which is understandable, you want to keep the game going for staff to come, I'm just using this as an example btw, a hacker in murder lol. If you did /staff, a menu could come up with a list:

1- There is a hacker in your game
2- You found an inappropriate build
etc.

And from there you can either click on whichever one applies to you, or do /staff 3 or /staff 8.

These are just two concepts I wanted to point out,

Overall I love this idea, +1
