Okay, so this story takes place back in time. So let's go!
*TIME MACHINE STUFF*
Welcome to 2010, where your girl was 4.
So, this takes place around October, cause it was chilly af. So, my mom had suggested that me and her go outside and play with our dog Bailey, (RIP Bailey, 2005 - 2016) so we did. She had this toy that was really ugly, it was a deformed rat looking thing, I dunno what it was. So after 10 times tossing it around and her running like crazy to get it, I asked my mom if I could throw it. She somehow said yes. So I readied my arm, and threw.
Where do you think it landed?
The roof. So, my mom laughed and slightly panicked how we'd get it down. My mom had told me these words.
"Ava, call 911 if anything bad ever happens. Like me or your daddy get hurt."
So, 4 year old me thought this was bad. I ran inside, and ran to the homephone. I used the little spinner circle, and dialed 911. I talked to the man, and here's our exact conversation, I still remember!
Me: "Mistew. My mommy got a toy stuck on the woof, (I couldn't pronounce my R's.) and we can't get it down.
Officer: "Erm, may I speak to your mother?"
Me: "She's outside"
And then I panicked and hung up.
I went back outside and told my mom I had it dealt with, and I stood up proud.
Mom: "Ava, honey what did you do?"
Me: "I did what you said and called 911 if something bad happened."
My mom laughed, thinking I was joking, but then she saw the look on my face and knew I wasn't. She ran inside at full speed, and they called back.
She talked to them, and lets just say we had a long talk about when to call 911 that night.
Alright! I have a few more tales to tell, so tell me if you'd like me to do more!
