I was interested in how bans, mutes or other are put in permanent or for a short period of time.

I feel like there is little evidence that is needed for a perm ban.

What is your opinion on this? Or how are bans, and mutes decided for long or short term?

I assume that every rule has its own set of times for each type of punishment. Like multiple chargebacks and cheating, those would obviously be Perm Bans.

this reminds me of helper app questions
Lol I just was wondering how long bans are decided and how much evidence is needed to ban someone. I just want to see this. Since the ban I receive was with so little evidence just detailed in 1 spot. So I want to see the answers and make suggestions.

thanks for replying :)

With the cheating what if the evidence was little and they were perm banned. I just feel some players that were banned had little evidence against them. Of course something such as fly and kill aura is a little obvious but things that are hard to detect such as xray, regen, and other are sometimes false. I was falsely banned and not too long ago I heard another person was falsely banned. Maybe it was random chance still I bet their evidence against them was simply 1 thing.

Depending if the player has done a repeated offense, it would then judge how the player will be punished. If caught bypassing the swearing filter for example, and then proceeding to spam/flood the chat with inappropriate words, they would most likely be handed a mute for a longer period of time compared to just one offense after swearing.

i think the system is "whatever the staff happens to feel like at the moment"

warnings mean next to nothing, and only really "punish" dedicated long term players, (I have around 15? never seen a repercussion yet) and in my experience staff here thinks a lot of things are "evidence" that are in reality just mistakes or slip ups because they're unfamiliar with more experienced players and/or actual hackers that don't just blatantly fly around (the clever ones)

mutes and whatnot probably just depend on who you bother, how much you bother them, and how many times you've bothered them before. or the staff member's mood at the time.

Not 100% sure what the point of this thread is, is it to be informed about punishments or to simple inflame the people that feel they have been unjustly dealt with in the past by the staff team?

To see how punishments are dealt with. All we know is that staff ban and warn and etc people. But is there actually a system to it? The point of it is to know the system. Since there is no way of knowing if we will get a perm ban or a simple warning. I just want to know if the next time I am assumed of having hacks that I know why I am perm banned not a simple you hacked and got perm banned. Sorry if I seem rude or negative about staff.

Not really, depending on the severity of the rule broken or how many offenses they committed, the punishment can vary

Hm I was perm banned with 1 video and the suspicious action only happened one time one place. Nothing bannable before yet I got a perm ban with little evidence not being rude here just want to understand the system they have.

Depends on the action done and the severity and how much proof was given. But they can falsely punish you which is why you can appeal.

There is a doc that all staff have access to that details exactly what rules deserve which punishments, and what to do for repeat offenses and such. While we keep the document confidential from the players, all staff are expected either to be bookmarked or mostly memorized.

Ok then, lock since this information is confidential. Thanks! Sorry if I insulted any staff I wasn't trying to just wasn't certain how punishments were carried out. By voting on a punishment or by a book.

Lock please if you didnt notice
