So, when Helpers / Mods do /hiderank on, their rank gets hidden. But most people get suspicious since a lot of them knew their rank before. Example: Hclly was an E+, then she got Helper, she put Hide Rank on and had no rank.


So I'm suggesting when they do hiderank, it puts them back to the rank they had before staff.

As for the suggestion itself i'm voting no. Yes its a good idea but it will cause A LOT of uproar when someone sees a staff like Dizzeh (A old staff) with her donator rank instead of her mod rank when she uses /hiderank and then it just makes her the attention of the whole server and making /hiderank useless.

Honestly it makes it more suspicious. It's easier to hide as a non since their is so many and I have to go through the tab 2 times just to find the right non I'm looking for yet for ranked it's simple since it's a smaller group. Also once the above thread is put into place hide rank won't be too useful since they might put the ability to be a rank in there nick name or how ever they do it.

If you read what I said, it's been suggested but "in different shapes and forms" they're all for the same benefit - To help prevent players knowing people are staff.

While I was staff it was very easy to notice when I was in hiderank because I have E+, and everyone came to two outcomes: "She lost her rank!" Or "She's in hiderank!" This would be very useful because it is rather obvious when a staff is in hiderank.

I see where you are getting this, but, like other staff commands, this is a tool. It really depends on the staff member and if they feel comfortable with it. But when another (newer) staff member did this, it would not be very "messy". I wished I had this a helper, because with me being a default In hiderank, I lost a couple of cases. This would be helpful. +1 for me.

I'm pretty sure there's a /nick command, if staff can use this whilst in hiderank it would make things way easier. (And as stated above, it's being planned on soo this wouldn't be useful at all)
And "hide rank" kinda already implies that their rank will be hidden, not replaced.
