The wind was whirling outside, the stars in the sky were a dark red. The moon was black as an oreo, the grass turning to ash. The golden rays of the sun were no longer beautiful, they were red and black, the sun was closer and darker. Alvin opened his eyes to find himself standing in the middle of the chaos, May standing beside him.
"It won't be long now," May whispered, "the rays of the sun will shine, but only at the end of the world." May turned to stone, then was turned to dust and swept away by the winds harsh breath. Suddenly, a hand rested on Alvin's shoulder. He slowly looked behind him, it was Teodor! Alvin was in the classroom with him.
"Falling asleep there Alv?" Teodor said. All Alvin could think about was the black and red rays of the sun. May walked over and got a confused look across her face.
"Alvin? Alvin, are you alright?" She said, rushing over to him. Alvin couldn't move, he was stuck in the world of chaos. Darkness filled his eyes, drops of liquid ash filled his vision, then he awoke. A chandelier with broken light bulbs hung above him, the old dust floor scratched his back.
"Ugh. Where am i?" He said, sitting upwards. A moan of pain was heard from down the hall, it sounded like Shantee! Alvin got up and ran down the hall, he saw Shantee sitting down, laying against the wall. Her head had a big bruise on it.
"Shantee! Are you alright?" Alvin said, pushing away the broken glass.
"I'm fine, where are we?" Shantee said.
"I don't know."
"Well we better find out soon." Shantee pushed herself upwards. The whistling wind reminded Alvin of the chaos world, but just as he was about to tell Shantee about it, a shadowy figure appeared in the doorway.
"Only the rays of the sun will be bright at the end of the world." The figure said, but there was one problem, it wasn't May!!!
