~Amina's POV~
We prop up from behind the couch, feeling idiotic to nothing being there.
"Where did it go?" BooLoo says, itching her head..
"Maybe it got scared?" Dragaz says, he walks towards the end of the living room, he turns right towards the front door.
"Wait!" I shout, I begin following him, of course the rest of us follow.
He enters the kitchen going towards the wall were the entrance to the backyard was.
"We could always break the walls down?" Millin says.
"I got this!" Silver say. She makes a fist backing up, I assume she wants a head start. She runs screaming "AHHHHHHH!" *BAM* Her fist collides with the wall.
"OWWWW!" She says shaking her hand, the wall is somewhat indented, you could see cracks.
"Who's next?" She says.
"You do it Dragazo" Millin says, I wouldn't say Millin was afraid to do it.
Instead of getting a running start, he walks up to the wall, aiming for the indent that Silver made, making a fist he swings his arm perfectly hitting the hole. It breaks, gladly thee wasn't another wall, the outside light shines in from the small hole. You could see the dust in the air.
"Another source of light never hurt." I say.
"Well it did!" Silver says.
Dragazo walks away from the wall, Millin walking towards it. He sticks his hand in the hole pull on it, expecting it to break. I'm sure he wanted the hole to be bigger enough for a human to fit. Eventually he breaks it, all of us help. We manage to break it enough for one of us to fit at a time, the light burns our eyes some what. BooLoo grabs her water bottle she brought, thankfully it wasn't made of glass, or plastic. She swings her arm, holding her water bottle at the glass.
"Wai-!" I say
Too late, the glass shatters, she breaks the remaining glass still on the sliding door.
"Now if we exit through here, we won't get cut. You're welcome" She says.
We pull up the wooden chairs in the kitchen, because there only 4 I get stuck sitting on the floor, avoiding the shards of glass.
"So what now?" I say, trying to get into the most comfortable position, if there is one.
"I guess we wait" Millin says, he stares at his wrist watch.
"That's no fun!" Silver says standing up, a fist in the air. The way she said it was very dramatic, plus the fist?
"I think your goal is to kill us" I say.
"Think again!" She replies
She some how convinces us to actually leave the not dark kitchen into the complete darkness.
"Should we go back upstairs" She asks.
Leaving the kitchen, Silver leaves last. She shuts the doors. Without knowing there were even doors being there.
"There were doors there?"
"Yeah." Silver says
The doors were extremely thin, but some how it blocked off most of the darkness, any barely light peirced through the door.
"Shall we?" Silver asks?
"I was kind hoping not to" I say.
"Same" BooLoo says.
"Well we're going anyway!" Silver replies.
"Of course we are" Millin says.
Silver reaches for her flashlight. She begins walking up the stairs, of course she leads the way, fearless is what I'd say, Dragazo runs to the top with Silver. Millin, BooLoo, and I falling behind. We reach the top freezing, Whispers come from the room, at the end of the hallway. AKA the room we slept in. I begin slowly backing down the stairs, Millin happens to be behind me. He pushes me forward.
"I don't think so"
"I think you all want me to pee myself" I say
They all slightly laugh, not one bit talking me seriously. The whispers get louder. We hear other noises, different places, different noises. For enstance, the kitchen we hear shattering glass, the bathroom we hear water dripping, the living room we hear pounding. The farther the room, the more faded the sound was. We hear a slight melody coming from the room. Millin moves us all aside walking to the front, he grabs the flashlight from Silver dashing towards the end of the hallways. He takes out a shard of glass from the shatters of a plate, not one of us noticing he picked it up. We follow him after, we last see him entering the room, once so we run. We enter the room to see him standing infront of a record player, playing a foreign lullaby. He picks up the record shattering it onto the floor. We stare at him, the door shuts. We all flinch, Dragazo rushes to the door trying to open it. No luck.
"Not again!" I say.
"Again?" Silver says raising an eyebrow.
"It doesn't matter" Dragazo says pushing, pulling, the doorknob. "It's locked"
After all of us try ripping the door open we give up. Eventually we all sit down against the wall. Time passes, sitting in silence"
"What's the time" BooLoo asks.
Millin points his flashlight as his wrist watch. "9:13"
"17 minutes til we can leave" Silver says.
"I'd leave sooner if we could actually leave, if it's 9:30 and we don't leave, I'm busting that wall" I point to where the window used to be.
10 minutes pass
"Why are we just sitting here" I stand. "Get up"
"Beca-" I cut off Millin.
"We're getting out of here"
I signal them to move away from the door. I walk closer to it, kicking the front in.
"Woah, where did yo-" Dragazo gets cut off by me.
"I took karate" I reply. I stick my arm in the hole I made in the door, I feel for the doorknob to feel a key lodged In the hole, I unlock it.
"Someone is definitely here" I take my arm back, breaking the door more, grabbing sharp sticks. I hand one to BooLoo as well as Silver. I open the door.
"Let's go"
Dragazo holds his screwdriver, Millin with his shard of glass. We walk down the hallways, all the doors closed. We walk down the stairs, creaking noises coming from the loose floorboards. We walk to the front door. Looking into the living room, the shadow is back, it walks closer to us.
"AHHHHHHHHH!" We all scream holding our weapons up.
"Don't come any closer" Silver says.
I look over at Millin's watch to see its 9:30.
"ITS TIME!" I scream, Millin swings the door open one by one running out, the light blinding us from being in the dark, I exit last shutting the door. We all run across the street, First Millin, then Silver, then BooLoo, then Dragzo, lastly me. They all make it safe across, I still in the middle of the street, a car comes. It honks, it's too late.... *BANG*
They're all in shock, as they regain most of their vision. The last thing
I hear
"Amina are you okay!" They all scream.
