Part 6!
*8 Hours Later*
BANG!!
We wake up to the sound of a loud noise
"What time is it?" Millin asks.
"More importantly what was that?" Silver says.
Dragazo reaches for the lantern in the middle of the, he grabs it bringing it close to his wrist.
"It's 9:43am"
"Impossible" I say as my eyes widen in shock
Impossible how you may ask, it was pitch black. It was if we didn't sleep.
We all stand up heading for the door looking for any windows, I manage to find one after feeling for the walls, I rip open the curtain to see a wall blocking off the outside. They all stare at me, as I look back.
"Now that's impossible" BooLoo says.
"How is th-l" I get cut off to hear the same loud thud.
"Now back to that" says Silver
The doorknob begins shaking for two seconds none of us noticing till it happens again. Most of us still in shock, Dragazo notices.
"Uh.. Guys!"
"What are we gonna do!" I begin panicking.
"Ahem!" Dragazo trys to speak
"Calm down!" Millin says.
"GUYS!" Dragazo screams out. "Did no one else see that?"
"What are you talking about?" I raise an eyebrow
"I think there's someone else here" Dragazo replies.
"That's just great" Silver says in frustration.
"We can't just stay here" BooLoo says.
Floor boards begin creaking, as we all back up away from the door. BooLoo and I push Dragazo and Millin in front of us.
"Well thanks guys" Millin says looking back at both of us"
The doorknob begins shaking again, after 5 seconds of something, someone trying, it stops. Floorboards begin creaking again, the sound fading.
We all sigh in relief.
"Seriously?" Dragazo says raising an eyebrow.
"Let it go dude" Millin replies.
Silver dashes towards the door opening it look left for anyone.
"Who was that?"
"I'd rather not find out" I reply
"We're going" Silver says.
Silver grabs BooLoo and I's hand, which we grab Millin and Dragazo.
"Wait!" Millin says walking back into the room grabbing the lantern and walking back. We all walk down the hallway slowly hearing the floorboards creak, barely seeing anything, Millin leads the way holding the lantern in front of him.
"I can't believe we're going towards the noise!" I say frightened.
"What do you mean?" BooLoo replies
"Isn't this how everyone dies in the horror movies?" I say.
"Good point lets go back" BooLoo begins walkingback.
"Nope" Silver grabbing her hand pulling her back.
We continue walking, looking into the open the rooms. We see the stairs, to the right a door opens to a bathroom, Millin points the lantern into the bathroom.
"Is that blood? Silver says not shocked at all.
"How are you not slightly scared what so ever?" Dragazo asks.
"I dunno" She replies.
"I would say we should split up, but we know how that turned out last time" I say
"Why is it so dark, now is there not one window?" BooLoo says.
"I totally forgot there was one ba-" I say, looking back seeing a wall. "Nevermind then"
"Oh I remember that..." Millin says, as his words fade.
"Is no one questioning why the windows are being blocked off by walls?" Dragazo asks.
"I feel like its just not surprising anymore" Silver says.
"That's new" He replies.
We all stop at the top of the stairs.
"Shall we?" Millin says
We nod, walking down two steps. The bathroom door slams close, 2 second later the room's doors shut closed
"HOW IS THIS HAPPENING" I panic
"I say we RUN!" BooLoo suggests
"That's good for me!" I reply
"There's a door to the backyard in the kitchen." Dragazo says as we run down the stairs, the only light sources we have are the lantern and a faded lightbulb coming from the chandelier from the dining room. Dragazo takes the lead, showing us the way to the kitchen. He walks into the side of the entrance to the kitchen.
"Ow!"
"Ha!" Silver slightly laughs.
"Not the time." I say.
"I wouldn't have bumped into there if you would have handed me the lantern?" Dragazo says slightly snapping.
"Don't blame that on me." Millin says.
"Focus on not trying to get killed?" BooLoo says tilting her head sarcastically.
"You think we're gonna get killed!!" I say frightened.
Dragazo begins walking again and stops and stares at a wall.
"Wha-" he says
"What..?" I say.
"It was right there!" He replies
"Another wall I assume." BooLoo says
"Is the front door being blocked by a wall too?" I ask.
"Wouldn't hurt to check" Millin says holding his lantern infront of him walking towards the door, he takes a small left.
He sighs in relief "There's still a door" He reaches for the doorknob.
"DON'T!" Silver grabs his wrist.
"What?" He says in shock.
"The dare, 24 hours remember?" She says.
"We're still doing that?" He replies.
"I'm not one to give up a dare, so we're doing this" Silver says, her facial expression serious
"Alright! Alright!" He shrugs.
A plate from the kitchen falls. By the day we've had we choose to ignore it.
Another one falls.
"It's probably just rats." Silver says
"Maybe" I reply.
BooLoo grabs a flashlight from Millins backpack, she walks into the kitchen. Waving her flashlight at the broken plates shattered on the floor, and the old cub board it came from.
"Nothing here." She, walking back to us.
Another plate falls behind her, she flinches to the sound of the shattered glass. She dashes forward towards us as a instinct.
"Should we look around." I say
"Did those words come from your mouth Amina?" Says BooLoo teasing me.
We all have a slight laugh.
"We can't just stay here for-" Dragazo says cutting himself off, he reaches for Millin's lantern to check the time.
"It's 2:32, so 6 hours & 58 minutes." Dragazo finishes.
"7 hours basically" Silver says.
"Yeah.." He says, his word fading.
Millin sits on the floor against the door.
"We could wait it out." He suggests
"That's no fun" Silver says. "Let's go explore" She throws her hands out.
"Uh...." I say shocked by the words she just said.
One by one, everyone but Silver sits down against the wall/door.
"I wanna explore!" She says. "I'll go by myself if you want" She slowly walks away hoping for someone to agree to go.
I say getting up "Fine, I'll go" I look back at BooLoo, Millin, & Dragazo, hopefully they know I want them to come.
I give them THE look.
"Fine."
"Okay..."
"Let's do this!"
We go straight into the dining room, to the left is the living room, to the
right was another wall, before the wall it was another exit to the backyard.
"Now that I think about it, why isn't the door covered?" Curiosity strikes Millin.
"Well be thankful that we didn't have to break walls to get out." I say
"Yes, because we're going to be thankful to a unknown person and/or a ghost." Silver says"
I bump into a chair on our way to the living room. Before we enter, another plate falls from the kitchen, the faded shattering was just that.
"How many plates are gonna fall before these ghosts run out of em" BooLoo says.
"I guess we'll find out" Says Millin.
We stop at the entrance of the living room, I alone look back slightly. Not seeing much, I move back slowly. Look left to the front door I see a shadow, without hesitation I dash into the living room grabbing Silver & BooLoo.
"What"
"I saw something." I say.
"Did we not make the cut" Says Millin.
"Please note that I have 2 hands" I say whispering.
"Why are you whispering" asks Dragazo.
"Shhhhh" I say propping my finger over my lips. I wave towards me signaling to come here. I walk behind the couch, I crouch. They follow and do the same.
"I think someone else is here.." I say
"You think." Says Dragazo.
"Well I saw.. A shadow." I reply
"Didn't you see one too Dragazo?" Silver says.
"Yeah I did.. Now that I remember." He say.
"You didn't mention any shadow to us" Millin says.
"I didn't mention a shadow to anyone" He replies.
"How would Silver know then." BooLoo says.
"Not trying to interrupt here but remember there's someone else here" I say "And he/she might not be very friendly"
Floor boards creak as we quickly open our bags looking for any objects we could use as weapons. I mange to find a pair of scissors. BooLoo stairs at me.
"What?" I say
"You carry scissors?" She says
"Well... Yeah" I say.
"Why?" She replies
"So we don't get killed by crazy killers." I say sarcastically.
The floorboards creak louder, we all manage to find something that could inflict any damage.
"Hello?" I say.
"They're not going to answer if they're trying to kill us." Silver says.
"It was worth a shot" I say.
"True" Says Millin
The creaking stops, we hear doors slamming from upstairs.
"I will kill Evan if we don't die first." I say holding my scissors up.
"We could be cool action heros" Says Dragazo posing with his screwdriver.
I slightly laugh, as well as everyone else.
With the laughter and chat we had, we forget about the shadow. We pop back into reality as another plate falls, we prop up from behind the couch. Getting ready to attack we point our weapons.
