Hello Partiers!

Lately, I've been thinking about ways to improve the server and I came up with a bunch of ideas regarding the forums. The Development team has been focusing on the network's games such as Murder, Splatter, Creative etc. (which are indeed very important) but I also believe that some time should be spent into making the forums/store a more appealing place, since the forums is basically PartyZone's "first impression" to new comers.

Here's one of my ideas,

I believe that we should change the forum sections' icons to something similar to this:

Note: I didn't add all of the images as I feel that the visual examples that I used are enough to explain what the suggestion is all about.

This is, of course, not an important suggestion and there are other, more important things to focus on, but I believe it would be great to see some improvement/updates regarding the website.​

Maybe we could get the Design Team to create the icons because the ones you provided are pretty low quality (and I think I know why *wink*)

This would be a cute little thing to add, and does look nice to see first when opening the site. One thing that bothers me is the fact that right now you can see if the messages of a forum have been read or not (/if there are any new messages) - with this system, that wouldn't show up. An alternative to fix that is to have a little blue dot at the top left of the icon that would appear if there are new messages. Overall, +1 from me!

If this is possible, I believe this would be a splendid idea and would make the forums page more appealing! As you mentioned, forums can be considered “the first impression” for a lot of users scouring the internet for new and interesting servers. Adding more character and colour to the forums would be a very nice addition and would be fresh to have- making it more appealing for users. Especially as forums has had no updates in quite some time.

I will be voting +1, as I believe this would be a lovely addition and serve well- if possible. My view may be changed, if a stronger opinion arises.

Yeah, I just used images from Google in order to show a rough example of how I believe it should look like. I think that if it were to be implemented, that the Design Team would do an excellent job at creating the icons!

Adding to Nashi and Jules, this is a great idea, it would help people visually understand what each of the subdivisions are. Helping them to know where to go easily. Moreover an idea, maybe all of them will be designed to meet a particular theme to make it look aesthetic as well as organized. +1

Being completely honest here. It doesn't look the most professional unlike most of this forum, but that's okay. It WORKS, it fits "Partyzone" with more color and creativity.
Each picture you put perfectly describes the specific category the threads go under which is great.

It's very much possible, I've seen other servers that use the same platform for their forums and they're able to do it.

Do I need to repeat what has been said? It is an amazing idea and I wish to see it installed!
