Name: Escape from the Trappers [ Do you know a better name then this hit me up.]

How the game works?

At the start of the game there will be 1 person where you have to escape from, this person tries to hit Runners with an Bow which can shoot once in 5 seconds { Done with Cooldown }.

Runner got Hit?

When a Runner got hit by an arrow, they will be transferred to the enemy team, which tries to transfer all runners to their team before the timer ends.

Runner:

A runner does an Parkour with unlimited lives, Unless when you are hit by the arrow, once the runners have reached the point without being hit they won the game.

What makes this game Original?

This game is original, because I haven't seen this gamemode on other servers yet, I also think it can help lure players which normally plays parkour on custom maps to partyzone to have an extra challenge during the parkour, which they are doing.

How does the map look like?

The map will have an parkour and an shooting range next to the parkour where the enemy of the runners are
to shoot arrows with an bow at the runners.

Will there be kits in this gamemode?

Yes, You can buy Custom made banners, Skulls and Hats in the store which you can use in the game as cosmetics [ Remember this cosmetics will not help you to get better in the game ]

Any Advantages?

There are some power-ups inside the gamemode for example: speed and jump boost for the runners. The trappers will have four power-ups, for example: Nausea, Blindness, More arrows in a cooldown and with the last power-up they can skip the cooldown once , but this one will be hard to find in the game.

Will there be a store?

Like I said earlier in this thread you can buy cosmetics for in-game use, but it won't make you better or have advantages on games.

Extra information?

The game will be played with 12 players a game, The runners have 8 minutes to do the parkour and to dodge the arrows.

Why would this be an good game for the server?

Like i said earlier in the thread it will be an good game because the people which are normally playing parkour on their own {Singleplayer/Multiplayer} will join partyzone to play this game and maybe other games too.

How long would parkour courses be?
The parkour course will be 2000 blocks full with parkour jumps

What would maps look like? Would they be full landscapes? Or a small area that contains a parkour while maintaining a good look?
The map will be an Good looking small area which has eastereggs in it.

How difficult would the parkour be? Would there be any special mechanics? (I.E. Moving platforms)
The Parkour will contain no moving platforms and no special mechanics only power-ups which will help you out, there will be 3 versions of the game: Easy, Normal and Hard.

Would the hunter or- however you call them- be limited to one spot? One small area overlooking the course? Maybe kind of a shooting gallery like system where they're in a long path they can't escape- but they can easily fire upon runners? Or are they free roaming?
The hunter can only walk around in his space not on the parkour and not too near the parkour.

How many hunters would be there to start?
There will be 1 starting hunter which has to transfer them, unless you are playing the "Hard" mode.
In the Hard mode there will be 2 hunters at the start.



Would there be special traps for the hunters to use?
There will be some power-ups for hunters/trappers too.
For example: Blindess, Nausea and Fake Blocks


Would their be checkpoints for the runners? If so, how often?
There will be a 8 checkpoints, every 1/8 of the map there will be one checkpoint.

A couple of ideas for this suggestion:
1. Give the bow person a name, for example "Trapper" (like in death run gamemodes)
2. Make various shops for the "Trapper" that will aid him in shooting the runners. He gets currency for how much time has passed and runners shot.
A few examples of shops could be: Powered-Up bows (like short cooldown, extra arrows per cooldown, ect.), Abilities (such as turn all blocks invisible in a certain number of blocks around a block they're looking at, fake blocks, ect.)
I like the suggestion overall, creative idea, has some depth to it. +1

So the suggestion is a good start and all, but some more detailing could go a long way.

Some things to think about are:
  • How long would parkour courses be?
  • What would maps look like? Would they be full landscapes? Or a small area that contains a parkour while maintaining a good look?

I've seen this game before bit it's quite unique. I believe they called it Runners VS Archers. It was great fun.
