Hello! This is really annoying me, but whenever someone says my username(Elijahboy345) in chat, it freezes/crashes my game. Ive already asked one of the Mods, and he had no clue, and told me to come here. Do you know any way of fixing this so that I may play in peace?

Im pretty sure this is a client side issue and not a server issue, but make sure you have no mods running including optifine and try again, check if its the same on all servers that highlight your name when said in chat. Also check what version you are using, 1.8 works better than any of the 1.9 version atm because of the way we allow clients to connect.
