One day, a boy went camping over the weekend right after a day of socializing with people. People who probably carried a virus of some sort.
The camp out was extremely wet; the rain fell across the camp for most of the day. The boy was soaked from his head to his boots. He had fun, though.
Then, the boy came home and he had a cold.
His immune system failed while camping due to the rain. Now, the virus that he probably caught from someone else took its toll on his body. It invaded him and gave him a fever. For the next few days, he suffered from a fever, congestion, sore throat and lack of schoolwork. wait is that bad, though?
The boy thought his suffering was over on a warm Wednesday night. Little did he know he would wake up at five o'clock in the morning with his left ear throbbing with pain.
He woke up in the morning to find that he had an ear infection. He went to the doctor's office; his doctor was gone, so he had to talk to a nurse practitioner that he didn't know.
And now he's writing this thread ;(
it hurts
