I brushed myself down and made my hair straight. I still did not understand why these people said that they knew me, but I 'banged my head' apparently. There was this thing that reflected me. I could see myself. It was the first time I'd seen myself, but i feel like it was not a surprise, I have blondish hair, blue eyes, and pale skin, though I go out a lot.
I opened my door and went downstairs, Lilly was waiting at the door,
"Lilly?" I said to her,
I said this because she looked distraught, like she had been crying, or hurt.
"W-Why do you ask?" She muttered back.
"You seem to have been crying."
"Kile your seeing things!"
She was now becoming more distraught. I had -to me- only known this girl for around 12 hours, half a day since yesterday when she took me in, and I still hadn't been to the alchemist, but I did not want to tell her, she was already upset (or so it LOOKED like) and that would just worry her more...
"You've been crying" I said.
"I havn't!" she scowled back at me,
"You have" I said softly. "I can tell, you need someone to talk to. I can tell."
She slapped me on the cheek. But all I could do was worry, so it did not feel like it hurt.
"Stop interfering!" she hissed.
"So you admit it."
"N-No! I-I...!"
"LILLY! I'VE KNOWN YOU FOR HALF A DAY AND YOUR ALREADY CRYING!" I shouted
"I've known you for years!"
"WELL YOU HAVE THE WRONG GUY!"
She looked down and started to sob.
"You've been crying over me." I said.
She nodded.
"Lilly, I need to tell you something, I've been having nightmares, constantly, night in night out... I need to see the alchemist about it, I'm becoming weaker."
"Kiler..." she said. "I... need to tell YOU something"
I nodded and listened.
"We were about fourteen." she said. "We were playing around in the forest, when we heard footsteps. You... were handing me a flower, then, a guy came up behind you and kicked you in your back."
I became confused
"You grabbed your dagger... and started stabbing the bandit... he fell down, but he kicked his leg and tripped you up... you fell down and hit your head.. I shouted for the guards... they came, but... since your an orphan, my mom and dad couldn't take care of you, and the hospital was full from the last bandit attack.. So we sent you to the village, we hadn't seen you since."
I suddenly understood. I reached into my pocket and gave her a flower.
"Was this that flower?"
"Possibly..." She dried her tears.
"I'm sorry" I said to her. "Let's go"
"I'll take you to the alchemist."
"Thanks."
There was a loud scream outside. the next thing I heard was
"BANDITS!"
I ran outside and shoved Lilly back inside.
"Get to the top floor." I said.
"but.. i have a sword--"
"No!" I said. "Get back inside."
As I was turned around, My head hit the floor,
and soon the ground,
And soon Lilly's wood floor.
