I just looked up what "Devoted" means and it said

Trophies are mostly earned by posting messages so it's kinda the same thing

From what I've gathered, the "rank" thing on the side is based on your points. The more points you have, the "better" your rank is. You don't actually earn anything from them, it's just to display your dedication
