We live in a world full of desires. Gathering riches. Becoming stronger. Power over all. No mercy for the weak, and praise to the strong. That is the world I currently live in. A world where people would do anything to become stronger.
Slaughtering their friends and family, stealing from the poor, and constant destruction throughout the world. The world I live in is where there is no sin, but only control over others. However, I have one desire, a desire to stop this world destruction.
I am Diron. An experienced soldier who had a goal of stopping this war. I had survived a 5 year war of the Holy Light Clan against the Diamond of Spades Clan. It was a rough fight, but my clan, the Holy Light Clan, had fallen. I had started back from the beginning, with only the iron sword I had kept with me my entire life.
"Honestly, I don't see any point in negotiating with the Dragon Coal Clan." My friend, Timothy, who had a similar desire to me.
"We have no choice. They're the next step in reaching our goal." I replied to him.
He sighed in grief and pulled out his iron sword. "I don't see what we'll accomplish doing this. Along with the fact that we're bringing no armor. That's all." Timothy told me.
We watched as a soldier with full enchanted iron armor came out to us. I pulled out my iron sword and walked over to him. Suddenly, the soldier pointed his sword up towards my neck.
"Halt. State your business." The enchanted soldier requested.
"I wish to negotiate with the leader of the Dragon Coal Clan. I want to become allies." I replied to him.
The soldier was still holding his sword up to my neck. The silence was disturbed by the wind blowing against the grass. Timothy seemed to be still behind me, and I didn't hear him moving either.
"I'll let you in. However, do anything suspicious and both of you die." The soldier grunted.
"Thanks! We promise we won't do anything." I replied back at him.
Timothy and I ran inside the cavern and saw a large room filled with people wearing black chest plates and enchanted iron gear throughout. The room went silent as everyone turned their heads at us.
"Hello! I wish to speak to your leader!" I said joyfully.
"Uh... Y-Yes. W-We want to b-become allies." Timothy stuttered behind me.
A soldier in the back stood up and walked in the middle of the room where light from the top shined upon. He had a menacing scar over his right eye, and was bigger than the rest.
"Are you the leader?" I asked politely.
"The leader is currently not here. Scram." He rudely replied.
"Y-Yeah... Diron we should probably lea-" Timothy stuttered before being interrupted.
"Mind if I just wait here? We just want to be allies. I'd recommend being nice." I sassed the soldier.
The soldier's right eye twitched as he laughed along with all the others behind him. It seemed they had taken my statement as a joke. The soldier walked closer as he wielded his diamond sword.
"Really? You'll regret staying here!" He warned as he swung his enchanted diamond sword at me.
I quickly took a stance and blocked his sword. I countered his attack launching his sword away, and lanced towards his neck. The soldier froze as I stopped right against his neck.
"I don't regret anything. I just wish to see your leader." I told him.
The soldier shook in fear as he walked back from me. The room was in silence amazed at what I just did. People that looks like they were from his gang started standing up wielding their swords, but he stopped them.
"It's fine guys... Just let him wait for our leader." He told his men.
"Thanks! I really appreciate it." I replied back.
"What clan are you from? Outsider." A mysterious man in black standing on top of a market stand said looking down at me.
"I am the last survivor of the Holy Light Clan. Who are you?" I replied back.
The room gasped in shock as the man in black jumped down and looked at me through a hole in his outfit. There was silence throughout, but finally the mysterious man talked.
"I'm the leader of Dragon Coal Clan." He replied.
