Decent recording Device

I usually use bandicam but I am not a big fan of it.
Looking for a easy record set up were I can just record and report and is free. thank you for your help ^^

I mean.. I personally use Elgato Capture Card (Hardware) and OBS for streaming, I also have full versions of Fraps and Bandicam if you'd like them?

I use QuickTime, cause that's what came with my Mac, but you could use something else. On Windows it's just for viewing vids.

Um I only know 'Action!' Other than bandicam but I think Action! needs buying.
