Hi! This is a little story I’ve been thinking of that’ll hopefully contain a bunch of chapters and won’t die like most other stories. However, I can’t guarentee anything, so please bare with me, as school is my main priority! That’s enough talking for now, hopefully you all like it maybe? (Thanks to @Stelthy_River007 for helping me develop this.)
Alright, that was the Prologue. I’m not as good at writing as some, so... don’t get too excited about this being the greatest thing ever. Obviously, I’ll be collecting characters, so if you want to be in this, enter a character using the format below. Submissions can be by either commenting on this thread or DMing me here.
Once I get a certain amount of characters, I will do Chapter 1. Signups will continue throughout the whole story, however, unless I state otherwise. Thanks for reading!
Keenan Quiver traveled quickly down the vast emptiness in front of him. His hands were rough against the wheel and his fingers jumped in anticipation every minute that passed. The present he had gotten sat in the passenger seat, bouncing slightly. He could almost glimpse Seaside before him. Seaside, as the people who lived there knew, wasn’t really by the sea. In fact, the city goers really had no idea why it had been named that in the first place- the city was located in southern Illinois, and no water surrounded it. It has both rural and urban areas. Large buildings, companies, towers, and hotels made up the center of the city while the outskirts featured many small and large farms, where Seaside’s main food source was. Keenan lived in the rural area with his daughter, who turned 13 today. However, he worked in the neighboring city, Greensboro. That city was mostly a suburban area, with a few workplaces here and there. Keenan now came closer to the exit off the freeway, as his tense posture lightened. Looking up through his truck’s window, his jaw dropped in awe.

Getting out, the two drivers almost didn’t even acknowledge each other, as it wasn’t the wreck they were worried about.
