WAKE UP!
~Kia's POV~
I opened my eyes. It was Gabby. She was frantically shaking me. I sat up and looked to the side. Aiden, Pesky, Spyyggin, Nixon and Bryce were packing their things. Aiden slid his sword in to the small katana holder that was on his back.
I asked Gabby what was happening. She just quickly answered. My ears were ringing. I couldn't hear well.
"There's no time to explain, just come on!"
An explosion went off in the background as Bryce opened a portal. Everyone jumped in as Gabby dragged me in too.
It was light.
It was dark.
It was neither.
Then I opened my eyes and saw everyone staring at me.
"Thank goodness," Pesky turned around and shouted. "False alarm! She's fine!"
"W-What!? What happened to me? was something wrong with me?" I asked
"You stopped breathing for a moment after you came out of the portal." Bryce looked at me. He was looming over me with a potion. I snatched it out of his hand. It was a reverse sleeping potion. An energy potion. I gulped it down.
"HEY!" Bryce slapped me.
"HEY!" I slapped him. Eventually we ended up with red cheeks.
Aiden came and separated us.
"DAMN YO AIDEN!" Bryce slapped Aiden.
"DAMN YO BRYCE!" Aiden slapped him back.
....It went on forever.
~Nixon's POV~
I looked over the cliff edge.
It was beautiful! It was so sunny, colourful, and bright!
"Nice, isn't it?" Spryggin walked to the edge and folded her arms. "Welcome to Rolopo"
She gave me a shock. "WHEN DID YOU GET HERE!?"
"The same time as you. And I got to here by walking."
"....I knew that." I looked off of the edge.
"You've been here before?" I asked.
"I think I was raised here."
"You think? What do you mean by 'think'?"
"I mean I can't remember anything behind my 7th birthday."
"WHAAAT!?" I looked at her in disbelief. She looked at me like I was crazy or something.
"In this place, you see Reulos going about their business. Now and then you'll get a child Reulo come over to you and ask about adventures, because we have swords and some armour.."
"So.. You're famous?"
"Bryce is a famous alchemist."
"Oh, that's epic!"
"Yeah. It's why we usually follow him around. People move out of the way for him, as well as for us because of our swords, but he's cured diseases that stuck in our species like a splinter."
"So.. He's sorta.. praised by people?"
She nodded and then turned to the two swords sculpture that was in the countryside next to the city.
"What's that?" I asked.
"It's Hidoshi's sword and Maia's sword, crossed. They saved this place when medieval humans invaded."
"Humans found this place?"
She went quiet.
"Yes, they did." She said after a pause.
"But isn't this a different world!? I thought they would need a portal."
"Satanic ritual. Some teenagers were fantasising over a demon, when they tried to summon it, a portal opened. The armies rushed in, but Maia and Hidoshi killed them all.. They're quite old now."
"Th--They are? How long ago was it?!"
She paused again.
"It.. It was in 617BC."
"WHAAAAAAAA---"
"Guys! Get over here!" Aiden shouted to us.
"Reulos are immortal as long as they avoid sword fights. But that's pointless." She looked at me, turned around, and walked towards everyone else. I followed.
~Bryce's POV~
"WILL YOU GUYS STAHP FITIN?!" Pesky shouted.
"NAH!" I spat.
"BLEH!" Gabby said in my face. "WHY WILL YOU NEVER SHUT UP!?"
"o snap" Kia looked at me and I slapped her again.
"OOOO SNAAAP" Aiden chanted
Kia kicked me in the face.
"OOOOOOOO SNAAAAAP!" Nixon shouted.
"Kia, come on! Stop messing around!" Spryggin smilled. She dragged Kia across the floor.
"NU TUCHIN' DA CHILD!" I slapped Spryggin.
"NU TUCHIN' MA CHILD!" Gabby shouted.
Spryggin laughed. "Come on guys!" She smiled. "We have to show these guys around. I've explained to Nixon about the story of the sword statue, so you guys can do that on the way." She was talking to me and Kia. We set off down the hill. "You're explaining to them the story." I quickly said to Kia. Kia shrugged it off and started her story.
