Some of my friend's plots have been world edit griefed due to them being open. Maybe make it so that you can't select a range bigger than the size of a plot or two. Apparently, people do these griefs by selecting a huge range and hitting all the open plots, so limiting the range that you can use world edit could help. I think it could help prevent world edit griefs and stop people from losing hours of work.
