I don't know if I posted this before or if it's in the process of being talked about on another thread, I just found this on my USB from ages and I wanted to post it here before I deleted it.
Note: As some ideas vary from party-ness and non-party-ness, there could be game modes players can vote on; "Classic" and "Party".
Making it original ideas:
- Ability to place and break blocks (not in bases/ flag rooms)
- "Capture The Party Hat": Instead of a flag, players run around the game trying to capture a party hat. When a party hat is captured, the hat is worn on the players head and changes colours.
- Ores when mined have a slight chance of dropping party items; cookies, spawn eggs, diamond helmet (labelled party hat), enchant books, etc.
- First aid kit. Inside each base, there is a first aid kit chest. Players click the chest and their health regens for 10 seconds (hunger fills?) cool down for 5 minutes unless you die (if you respawn, it resets).
- Every 5 minutes (or so) something bad would happen to a team at random; (i.e) lit tnt would spawn in their base/ wither effect for a few seconds/ lit on fire for a few seconds/ etc.
- Inside each room for the "flags", there is a small chest with coloured leather armour and a stone sword.
Kits: [Better kits can be bought with points, gained by playing games, killing players, collecting flags]
- Party Darter: The kit gives you an infinite bow and an arrow.
- Pass the parcel (or Party Bag): The kit gives you a chest which when the player places, gives random items (note: should not be accessible to other players)
- Crazy partier: The kit gives you potions.
- Birthday Partier: The kit gives you 5 cakes and a stone sword labelled "Cake knife".
- Stealthy Partier: The kit gives you a (short) potion of invisibility and speed 1 boots.
- Costume Class: The kit gives you different coloured leather armour (depending on the colour of your team) and a wooden sword.
- Magic Partier: The kit gives you four obsidian and a book, along with two enchantment books.
Kit:
- Gives you an axe which is throw-able.
- Sniper class with a powerful bow but less armour and you cannot move when you're shooting.
- Class with chorus fruit.
- Bomber class where you get TNT and the player can self destruct.
- Cactus class that has thorns on the armour but the melee weapon is weaker.
- Elytra class that has next to no armour.
Teams:
Different maps could hold a different number of players, small/ medium/ large:
- 5 players per team (small)
- 8 players per team (medium)
- 12 players per team (large)
For Event Ideas, in addition to the Giant Murder Game, there could be a Giant CTF Game.
How to play:
Two teams spawn on opposite sides of a map inside their base. In their base there is a farm for food, trees for wood and a mine. When you die, you get respawned in the top of your base, which cannot be invaded by the opposite team (to prevent spawn killing).
Players must run around the map in attempts to collect three flags for their team. The flags are situated on the opposite teams own turf, so players must advance and invade to get them. The flags are inside rooms that the flags own team are not able to enter, however there is only one entrance and exit so they can guard it. The players must bring the flags back to a specific point in their own base to win a point. Flags cannot be 'stolen' back.
The team with all 3 flags (or the most flags at the end of a specific time period) wins.
