Whenever I go to report a player, it signs me out of my forum account. Is this just a me thing or a bug?

That is a small bug with the system that allows you to report users. It's one of the main reasons we ask for your in-game name as well as the in-game name of the user you're reporting.
You may have to log in again when reporting users if you wish to see the status of your report and receive comments on rejected reports. However, it will still work without if it's a bit inconvenient to keep logging in
