Rejected Bystander Sprinting

What do you guys think about bystanders. Do you think they should be able to sprint or no? Tell me some ideas because I'm wondering what other people think XD
 
Personally, I think they shouldnt be able to. It is a way to tell they are the murderer and makes the game more challenging for bystanders.

This is not really a good idea. Letting bystanders sprint would make the game even more complicated. Firstly, the murderer only sprints so we can trace them easier , if bystanders were able to sprint it would get people confused. Secondly, the murderer sprinting is an advantage they have over innocents so they can catch up to them and murder them which is the point of the game. If bystanders were able to sprint they would also be able to run away not only that but they would also be able to avoid knives from killing them etcetera. -1 from me

By the way , I think this is more of a suggestion so it should be on the suggestions part so should a moderator move this ( @Dizzeh , @Harieo @BlueBirdy )?

As stated above the murderer can sprint for multiple reasons, Makes it harder for bystanders, Can help bystanders trace the murderer, and just generally confuse people.

I personally think both, bystanders and murders should be able to sprint, although this will make a higher chance of RDM happen, other people can still say who the murder is if they see them

No, having bystanders sprint would almost never allow the murderer to catch them. Also, a key sign to find out who a murderer is, is if you see them sprinting. And having only the murderer sprint gives us a challenge.

Personally, i think -1. It would make it unfair for the murderer.
 
Makes it harder to ID the mur, and makes it harder for the mur to catch the bystanders. -1
 
In my personal opinion, this should not be added. The key (like @Chrissy) is to find the murder and see he or she sprinting. Making all players sprint in the game just ruins it all. Plus, if you see the murder, it'll most likely to see them running.

The main point of the game is for the murderer to kill everyone. So what does it mean if you can't run? It's kind of the core of the game. And remember, winning doesn't really matter, it's the fun :)
 
Thank you for your suggestion. However after thorough review, the team has decided this will not be implemented.

Allowing bystanders to sprint would hugely alter the gameplay that many of our players currently know and enjoy just the way it is. If you have any questions or concerns feel free to contact me via private message.
