We use a custom branch of bukkit, so we will continue to use it as best we can. MCPZ shouldn't be affected too much by the bukkit news. Dinnerbone is personally updating bukkit to 1.8 so we won't have to worry a whole lot until 1.9, and knowing Mojang that'll be quite a few months from now
