Build submissions

There are maps in SG that are on other servers and I was wondering if we can submit other people's maps if we give credit.
So if I see a map on server "x" can I submit it in build submissions as long as I give credit?

It depends if they put a downlad link and have given people permissions to use their map. For example: http://www.planetminecraft.com/project/no-name-survival-games-arena-contest/ is schnogot's build (avaricia), which had a download link and he gave people permissions to use them in their servers.
But if they give permission, then I guess it'd be alright

I would prefer it if you just posted the map name or preferably the planetminecraft/download link in a suggestion thread or private conversation rather than in build submissions.
