Lack of Interest Being mature for applications

The age restriction on applications is set for maturity. I believe if a staff member sees someone acting maturely, then they should be able to apply.

Why?

Because I have seen so many people on the forums and on the server who are mature for their age, but aren't allowed to apply for helper because they are like 11 or 12.

How?

Staff members should have a forum they can fill out saying someone who they think is mature. Then the Sr. Mod team and the administration would review the forum every once and a while and allow those people to apply.

Any suggestions to add to my suggestion? Just say so below! :3

The problem with judging maturity is that it can easily be faked to bypass the system. Global age restrictions set a stand point from which we know people have enough life experience to handle not only complex moderation duties but also the hate that comes from being a member of the staff team which younger players may not be able to handle.

From what you see up-front it may not seem like a lot to take but it's much more than you think. I wouldn't want a younger player to apply and be good at moderating but get depressed from what abusive players may do or say.
