Let’s Stop Roleplaying Impersonations



Sometimes people use “/rp name” to name themselves as the same name as other players. This leads to confusion and identity theft/impersonation. Now, if this suggestion gets implemented, and you try to name yourself as another, a message will appear saying “Someone already has this name!”
Please implement this, for safety and protection.
Some people already took advantage of renaming, and please do not let this go on.

True, imagine if somebody is on the server and they have a name like Rachael (Common RP Name) then you wouldn’t be able to, yeah okay +1

A suggestion that could be implemented/adding onto can be found HERE
I think it sort of helps with impersonation, it doesn’t fix it nor help stopping it, but it would tell you who is doing so.

Either way, I like this suggestion.

This is a fantastic idea and quite useful. I have witnessed many incidents, before I was staff, where players have impersonated each other and have said horrific things to other players in the RPs which has actually led to horrific situations. I have been involved in them too, and it’s honestly quite aggravating. I’d love to see this implemented.
