I just want to tell people always give back to people. Help those who are in need and that have less then you.
A month ago or so I volunteered at a place and I spent two days helping distribute food, water, clean clothes, and other stuff we use every day that those people didn't have. Their were families and many had little kids. These people were extremely poor and did not have much. Yet they smiled and kept their spirits up. I can definitely say it put things in perspective for me and I cried so much those two days. They would tell me to stop crying and be positive theirs so much good in the world. This coming from people who have almost nothing. That experience is definitely has and is leading me to doing more community service and volunteering.
This Summer, I am going with many other youth and some adults to South Dakota to do some mission work like rebuilding homes, repairing homes, repairing roads, and just anything we can do to help for a whole week. It will require 18 hours in a van there and back but it will be worth it.
You don't have to do something big like I will be doing. Even just helping around the people in your area is a big change. It's like everything that needs to have help to fix is a bandage and once we fix it we get to take off a bandage. If we all work together, we will be able to take off lots of bandages. I hope after reading this you all will want to go out and help your community.
