Recently... Alot of adverts for weightloss, to beauty products have been made into threads, I was wondering if there was a thing like the verification that they use to make accounts on PZ, If there is Im stupid, but If worst comes to worst, can there be a verification for posting.. The adverts are making the real discussion die out, More people are commenting on them, Is there any way to prevent this?

I have an idea... Basically, on another forums I used to use, you had to have the first post you made approved by a staff member. Although it'd mean more work for staff, it would fix the problem.

But like staff are not always that active on the forums and it would mean more time and work for the staff this would work for small servers for sure but Mabey not for PZ (my opinion)

I have an idea: Maybe you can't make an account unless you have been on PZ? This would have to cut it down by at least 3/4ths
What I mean: You MUST link your account and if you don't you can't post.

I had the same problem on my old forums. I simply added a vertification images/puzzles you had to do before you could post a reply.

Yes that prevents the spam, But it would decrease forum activity by a ton, Who here would verify every time they posted a reply etc. Why don't we just summon staff, it means more work for them, but it'd allow them too block anyone from viewing it, for ex drag found one yesterday and all I did was summoned a staff member and it was removed.

That would just mean more staff, @Oreo_balls could get mod and @SarahNeuendorf is always on, @Caitlyn_24 is often on... I think.

The best thing a non-Staff member can do is just Report them and forget about for the rest of their lives.

Making an account requires you to input a CAPTCHA code which means that these guys are either:
A. "bots" bypassing the system (which is unlikely)
or
B. Trolls(that would explain the grammar and/or spelling mistakes sometimes)
