Advertising?

I was in Massacre and posted a funny link to a music video, and Bunnibon said it was advertising. I thought advertising meant you're trying to get people to go to something to buy/view for your own benefit or showing a server address? I was just attempting to show my friends a hilarious music video. I have posted the link once before and I believe a staff member was online and I was not warned or told to quit doing such.

Is this really advertising? Please tell me if it is prohibited.

It's not particularly advertising as such, however it is not really allowed as posting links irrelevant to the server isn't allowed. (Basically try and avoid posting links that aren't related to mcpz)

when I was friends with an old staff member, she left me the link to the rules page. I read through.

then - a few months later - I got elite and went on murder. There was a helper in the lobby with us, yet someone left the link to a youtube video. I'm not insulting, but he actually responded saying 'it was funny' so he watched it.

if anything, people on the server watch youtube anyway - (not insulting) bt if anything is advertising in my opinion, then its to buy something, to join another server, or advertising a youtube channel, or your own videos. Technically making youtube videos advertising. It makes sense in my head, anyway..
