When I try to open my Minecraft, it says that it's already running, how do I fix this?

First, double check that you do not have Minecraft open in any other window (this includes on a different Minecraft account, and if you are on Windows, a different desktop). If you can't find it anywhere, then try restarting your launcher. If none of that works, when you try to log in there should be a "Start Anyway" button, just click on that and there shouldn't be any harm done.
