This is the story of Marie L. Smith.
It was a normal night in the Smith Household, almost oddly normal.
They had a typical suburban family dinner, then retreated to there bedrooms to prepare for bedtime.
9:15 PM - September 2.
Marie was preparing for bed, washing her face, choosing her outfit for school, putting on pajamas, and getting a glass of water.
She was a good student. Average A's and B's with the occasional B- in hard subjects.
After a moment or two, she realized the silence of her decently sized bedroom.
The silence was uncanny... She disliked it.
Marie proceeded to brush her long, black, hair and put it into a braid when she heard it... a strange noise, coming from her closet.
She peeked in, fearing a flesh-eating monster or Slender coming to eat her.
"Hello?" She said, her innocent voice echoing in the unnatural darkness of the closet.
After no reply, she assumed her cat Adelaide had been rummaging through her shoes hoping to find something delicious.
10:20 - September 2.
Marie, lay awake dreaming of the Fall dance that would be the following Friday. Then it happened... again.
She heard the same noise from earlier; and shuddered... Adelaide lay at her feet, eyes bulging out of her cat-sized skull... and something laughed, in a shrill voice...
