With the way things are pointing and the defense she used, Melanie didn't deny anything happening but denied her side of the blame which is really common for instances like this when they are under the public eye.. it seems really likely that it is in fact true but that's just my opinion on it, especially since this isn't happening over a court case right now.

if you read things on Twitter you’ll understand that false accusations are made all the time but Melanie is innocent until proven guilty so I’m sticking with Melanie on this until more proof is given to the public that she actually did what she did but I’m not taking sides yet so

why is proof needed in this situation but not needed when a man is accused
