Possible Cheating?

I was playing Murder, and I was the murderer. One guy messaged me in the middle of the game and told me who the murderer was, when he was a spectator. I assume that is cheating...technically. I told him it was because it seems unfair for a spectator to be messaging people who the murderer is. Here is a screenshot.

I think the /msg command should be disabled during the game because of this *kind of* unfair power..
 
The murderer can avoid that by changing identities although that doesn't help too much. It should be unusable by spectators but I don't believe it should be removed for the living players.
 
Yea Someone told me like it was hackasore who was the murderer And the innocents won Like i think thats cheating because like if the person dosen't know who it is you should tell him if you got killed
 
Teamplayer is working on something to prevent messaging, give him some time, it's hard to do! But yes, eventually it won't be possible to cheat this way.

I didn't know this. I just started playing a few nights ago.

but think about it, teamplay via players in skype,steam,facebook, etc. etc. will allways be there.

Right, cause in real life you wouldn't tell your friend which person in your group of friends is a murderer... :p
 
What about an auto /temp mute so they can't talk during the murder game
 
Wait are you talking about the mini game or Irl cause having a /temp mute or /mute would bo so useful in real life

Mute doesn't stop PMs, only public chat, and it doesn't stop talking with a secret identity in murder either (although that was a bug, so it may have been fixed now).

What about just takeing pm out of the murder games I think thats possible Maybe not Maybe im a Wizard that can see into the future I see Lily Destroying the world in the Future :eek: No Wait Lilys Sleeping in the future Em hm

It's more complicated than that. But Teamplayer is working on something to stop it.
