Fist of all a lot of people wont agree with me or like this idea, I am just going to put it here anyway.

What:-
Splatter, Party games, Downgrade, and Arcade games.

Why:-
No one play's them anymore, I know some people love these games, but do you even get a chance to play them? No not really because you can never reach the minimum amount of people to start the game.

Benefits:-
Running a server costs money, having more mini games in the server costs money, and uses up memory. If Party zone removed these games, it is less games that the developers have to keep fixing and upgrading, and less money getting put into games that are not used, as well as memory, and more time for them to fix things in Creative, or in murder, or Elite survival, which on that note of elite survival I think it should have a reset.

Another Suggestion:-
I think there should be a 'thing' introduced into creative if where a player doesn't play for a certain amount of time there plot goes, it would keep creative running more smoother, and take up less memory.

Thank for reading this, I want to see your opinions about this in the comments, <3

That’s actually not a bad idea, that could actually make things better.

I agree, that’s a thumbs up from me.

I agree to this to an extent, the current games need updates, but I'm not surr they should be removed altogether.

I feel as though once DG if/when DG is eventually fixed later down the line, players will start playing it, like they did before it was broken. I don't think removing it altogether would be be best idea.

Nobody really ever played splatter unless it was on stream, one way to solve this is by lowering the amount of players required to start a game.

PartyGames never really kicked off.. it's up (I think), but nobody plays it. It really is a fun game and I think more people will play it once we start gaining more players again.

Arcade Games... I think these games should be removed. Nobody ever played them, really ever. It's probably best that we forget about them now, they were extremely fun (mostly ditto), but they weren't ever played by many people.

Shutting down the amount of servers we use for these games would be a great idea, and would still accomplish your reason. Changing downgrade to just 2 servers, PartyGames to 1, lower the required players to start splatter, and lower the servers it uses down to 1 as well. Then shut arcade games alltogether.

Overall: neutral

(Just my opinion btw)

Completely agree- no one plays arcade games and party games or splatter. People only play if it's for a stream (as stated above) however lets be real, players will play anything if it's in a stream. The majority of users don't like any of these and aren't going to play them. It would definitely help the developers out as they can focus on fixing the games the server loves, and then start implementing more games/game-modes the server loves rather than worrying about fixing games no one is going to play anyway. I also think maybe having some sort of survey where players can vote their favourite game modes would be useful? That way staff can get an idea of who's actually going to play the games when they're fixed, and can sort out what ones to get rid of and what ones to keep.

I agree with the first part about the mini games 100%.

It’s the part about the time limit for creative plots thing that I disagree with. For example, I haven’t been in creative in a while because my laptop has a virus. I plan to use my plots much more once I am able to actually go online...

+1 for now

As stated above, hardly anyone plays the games because they're broken. Not to mention, it will let the DEVs focus on over things. +1

Mini-Game Suggestion:

I don't entirely agree with the removal of all mini-games for the sole purpose that mini games, such as Murder, are what originally made PartyZone so unique. Unfortunately, other servers have taken it upon themselves to mimic the idea. I personally think that minigames, such as murder or downgrade shouldn't be removed because their concepts are amazing.

As your main point says, minigames simply don't have enough players hence why a lot of people don't play. I believe if we just update and fix these games, we can all enjoy the minigames we once loved. Although, I believe minigames such as arcade games and party games should be removed because despite being released not too long ago, they are suffering greatly because as I've seen and experienced, no one takes interest them.

I believe removing a few games, as the ones I've listed, may reduce the cost of the network but I don't think money has ever been an issue. From what I've seen, it's a lack of developers and players. It's sort of like a domino effect. The more developers, the faster games can be updated and fixed, the more updates and fixes, the more players participating in games, and so on. +0 [Agreeing with some points]

Creative Suggestion:

I won't be agreeing with this suggestion. All players have put in a massive effort into their plots over the years and taking it away because of inactivity is simply unfair. A lot of players can't contribute to the network due to an overwhelming amount of different specific factors. Clearing their plots won't necessarily benefit the network and can only cause frustration for players coming back. -1

Whilst I no longer play on the network, I don’t want to have to come online every so often just to keep my plots. One reason why this shouldn’t be implemented is let’s say the rule is that plots get deleted after 2 months and someone has had their computer broken for 3 months. Once they get back online, I’m sure they’d be devastated to see their plots gone and not very happy either.

Friendly little reminder- but we never said it thing - If you're going to make multiple suggestions in one thread, please do make them the same topic. It's not a rule, it's just a matter of convience for both the average user, and the feedback team, as it's much more time consuming to pick apart which ideas are being upvoted for or downvoted for than just simply looking at the ratings.

As for the suggestion itself, the devs are just busy. I'm sure updates and changes are planned for most of these, however we don't quite have the dev power to get that done in a short amount of time. And while yes, resources are limited, it doesn't apply as much when it comes to them being all down for being broken..

As for the creative suggestion, I suggest not for one main reason, people can come back. You can say people's plots who haven't came on in a year + or something, but some of these builds are really good, only to get seemingly deleted in this case for no good reason other than saving just a sliver of data of storage.

I'm sorry if I mention anything that's already been said but I only had time to read the suggestion itself.

Mini-game suggestion-

I completely understand where you're coming from in terms of server storage, cost and mini-games that aren't played could be a waste of time for developers.

Downgrade for instance used to be popular until the a few updates and/or bugs started appearing. Although downgrade is currently down, I feel that removing it would upset a few players, including myself, that would still like to play it. Before doing anything with any mini-game including downgrade I feel that we should get community feedback and going from there as it's only fair.

As for splatter, freeze tag, party games and the arcade games I feel as though they never had their chance to sprout and never had a chance to become popular. Now, the stream team only really plays murder and creative as party games is a bit temperamental and the other games are currently down. However, whilst these games were up other players used to join the stream team in the games and almost always made them full. Players do enjoy these games but it's honestly the way that we go about advertising and feedback which is the issue. It's unfair to remove a mini-game just because it's down as developers have worked hard to put them there in the first place. Now developers are prioritising the most popular parts of the server to ensure that bugs are sorted so that players aren't put off.

At this moment in time from my point of view the strongest issue is implementing mini-games that the community may not have necessarily suggested or wanted. These mini-games that are implemented are basally risks and haven't really gone to plan. By implementing games that out current community wants will help provide a "nest" if you'd like to call it that for other players to be persuaded to join. Plus, the current community could easily invite more and more friends.

Another issue I find with the new mini-games is the lack of community feedback. I feel that a few weeks after a huge mini-game update should be followed by feedback. Lack of feedback is drawing members of the community away as they don’t feel involved as a community. By improving and changing mini-games due to feedback it’ll satisfy and persuade more players to join, especially if they didn’t like it in the first place.

The final issue that I think could help is the advertising side of things. Yes, we have Instagram and Twitter, but we do not put ourselves out there enough and in a way to fit the audience and purpose to persuade new members to join our community. Also, streams are a great way to advertise the server but aren't done as well as the could be done at the moment. When streams are live that aren't really advertised well to persuade people to join.

I will be staying neutral for this part as at this moment in time it’s unfair to remove them. If we’re really in dyer need of extra server space, then of course I agree to temporarily removing them.

Creative plot suggestion

I’m not going to say much for this as everything’s pretty much been said.

It’s unfair to remove a player’s plot if they haven’t been on in a while especially if they’ve spent their time building it. There are plenty of plots and I can assure you that they won’t be running out anytime soon. For this suggestion I’m going to have to say -1. Sorry!

Most people don't like the mini games tho. They don't have enough players cause no one likes the game. Even with updates, no one would play, like people would play for all of a week to see what the updates are, then realise they don't like it and stop playing again. If the mini-games no one plays get removed, it'll be less work for the developers since they won't have to worry about updating games no one is going to play anyway.

At the moment we don't have much feedback which means that we aren't changing games players don't like for the better. Some players may not like a specific detail of the game and may not play due to it. With feedback we'd actually be able to tell if players don't want the game at all or just want a few changes to the game which'd engage them into playing. Yes, it can be less work for developers but it's still unfair to remove a game that we haven't had feedback on just because "no one plays it". There are reasons why players don't play games and that's why feedback needs to get to the bottom of it. We may find out that a few small tweaks could help the mini-game sprout and become popular. We may find out that the game would never become popular as the concept may not be liked in general, which is fine to say that we should remove it.

We should 100% be having games that the community wants but it's unfair to remove a developer's hard work just because nothing's been done to get players to play them.

Some feedback: no one likes half the games on pz. An idea i already suggested would be to have a poll or survey which can be linked on the forums and in game, as to which games players want to play, and want to keep. They could have a maximum of three games to pick, and the ones that are least popular get removed.

I'm going to respectfully disagree with you here, mainly because I've experienced and understood the frustrations players express because minigames are bugged/glitched. I've never once seen a player say "I don't like murder", though what I have seen are players constantly upset because Murder is bugged/glitched, preventing them to play. I'm not completely knocking the fact that players don't like a specific minigame, I'd be surprised if players loved all our minigames, but my point is with updates, bug fixes, etc.. more players can return to the simple, fun games they once loved with new perks (or related).

I can assure you, removing an amazing game such as Murder and completely giving up on its concept is not something that will benefit the network and will only frustrate players. Though, what I can say is games such as PartyGames obviously isn't interesting the players (or as I've seen) and that is something that can be removed or perhaps replaced with something players can vote for.

This is all just my opinion and perception of the situation.

If murder, downgrade, etc. weren't broken, we would have proper feedback. Like Cattt said, people complain about how the game is broke - not that they don't like it. We need to fix the games before, as a community, we decide which are liked and which aren't
