Forum type: Pros and Cons!

Pros! (Yawn...)

  • You will destroy the plot, leading to the owner freaking out like crazy. Don't even think this is good.

  • People will attempt to rebuild it as you destroy more, destruction will occur during a massive rebuilding.

  • Why do you even grief bro? IT'S NOT NECESSARY M8.

Cons! (Giddy!)

  • The moderators can see who places/breaks blocks simutaneously. My brother got me a weekly ban for griefing. That's a long story...


  • Somebody will report you to a moderator, make a report on forums and you're gonna get BAN HAMMERED TO HELL!

  • The Moderators can undo stuff. THIS AIN'T WORTH IT BRO.

I wouldn't grief but I think it's good to have griefers so they can get caught and hopefully get banned.
 
They do it out of anger.
 
They do it because they want to be noticed. They want people to see that they're there, that they are doing something, and that you cant ignore them.

Well the most People that grief are not on the Forum so I would say you should write that In mc not here
 
Griefers grief to ruin otheres fun, they dont care if they get banned or kicked. Ruining fun is all they care about
 
I've seen a lot of griefs, most of them are totally dependant on the context.
You get some people who just tpa to roleplays and then start pouring lava/water everywhere because it's a source of amusement for them.
You get some who grief a player's plot out of spite or pettiness because that player did something they might not have liked.
It's best not to question their actions, but report them by simply using the /reportcreate command on the plot that has been griefed, and a moderator will deal with it in short time. Or even better, if you have video-graphic evidence of someone altering a plot without permission from the owner, report them on the forums.
 
I think that when everyone would be Aware that you have to do /Report create and not to fix it, Griefing wouldnt ruin the mood from anyone except the Griefer.
I notice often that Rp owners are not Aware of it. They just fix it and ruin their own Mood even though they could Report.

You don't need to add anyone to your plot that you don't know. Just do the work yourself, and spare all of the work you already did. If you truly need someone, I suggest asking someone you can speak to, not someone you met 5 seconds ago. Then you can actually scream at them and threaten to tear out their eyes if they don't replace all that they broke. :)

A lot of people RP, it's not the fact that people are asking people for help to build something and they get griefed however that's probably happened before.
