This story is called 'Brite Lite', Based on AOT (Attack on titan, ok help me)
Some parts ARE from attack on titan - Some are from my own story.
Why hide? Why cower in a basement? Attic? Your house at all?
Coward? Sure, they are to me.
"RUN!" echoed in my mind.
Why? Why run? Why cower, though? Running is cowardly. I am NOT a coward, Do NOT call me a coward.
"AAAHH--" I woke up to the heavy weight on my chest. "Ethan!" I shouted. "Why did you do that?!" "To wake you up." He said calmly. He was always calm for some reason. His parents died, He is basically my adopted brother. "You were sleeping. I collected all the food. Mom asked us to collect the apples." "Really? I thought it was ploughing the fiel--" I stuttered, But e=Ethan rudely interrupted me by putting his hand to my face - Glorious.
We headed back. We stopped at the gate, my father was a Scout. Someone who guards the gate.. I gave him a high-five when we went through the gate. "Hey, dad." I said, He waved at me and smiled. "Hey Red, Hey Ethan!" "Hey, dad." Said Ethan.
"So.. You still gonna join the Scouts when your older?" Asked Ethan, quietly. "Yeah.. My grandfather was one, my dad is one - Why can't I?" I questioned Ethan, "No reason, really," He answered. "The titans jsut stand gawntless outside the wall for no reason." He fooled. "They're dumb"
I threw my basket of apples on the floor. They were upwards, so nothing spilt out. I closed my eyes - I saw someone dragged from rubble. Today was different. Weird. "Tired?" Asked Ethan. "No" Just... resting" "It's the same thing.." He replied.
I live beyond wall Rose. My father protects the gate. Things are handed to us on a plate; That's what I don't like about where we live. it's too simple.. It's simple drab. People say I'm young. Simple.

In the year 845, people of Germany suffered a shock that not even the soldiers could handle. Not even I was ready for it, and I sensed it coming.
Mankind did not start the fight - but we are willing to finish it. The gates of Germany broke open and titans poured in.

"Hey, Glowyy!" I shouted. Glowyy was mine and Ethan's friend. He sat on the wall near where we were. He hadn't noticed us. "Glowyy!" I shouted again. "Oh-- hey Ethan, Hey Red!" "She fell asleep on the job" Laughed Ethan. "Haha - Really! Wow, and I thought I was lazy!" Joked Glowyy. "Ha-ha." I said sarcastically.
Wall Rose was one of the most heavily protected walls, well, I saw 'WAS' because...
Suddenly, the ground rumbled, people tripped and fell. People fell from windows, people DIED.
Because of this.
Because of the bright light that stood beyond that wall.
The colossal Titan.
What they did made what they did look like childs play.
"Oh no... What is.." I said. "A Colossal Titan.." Said Ethan. "Too late to make up names now, Ethan - EVERYONE, RUN!" Shouted Glowyy. "My house.. My house is that way.." I pulled on Glowyy's jacket. "Come with us!" Glowyy looked at me, confused. "ARE YOU INSANE!?" He shouted in my face. "She's not joking - Mom was in the our house alone! Come with us, Now!" Demanded Ethan. Ethan put a glare on his face. "Uh--uhhh... I'll come, just quick!"
"I'll turn the corner and everything will be ok, so all three of us can get to the boat nice and safely.." Mumbled Glowyy. We turned the corner and my house was fine, Thank God! I ran into the house, "Mom!?"
"Red!? Ethan!? And- Glowyy!? Why are you here?! We have to get out of here, now!" She demanded. "Why!? What are you waiting for!?" Shouted Ethan. "Your father!" She screamed back.. I understood now. "THEN I'M STAYING!" I shouted at her. "NO, YOUR NOT! YOUR GOING TO THE BOATS! YOUR GOING GOT LIVE!"
"BUT WHAT IF I DON'T WANT TO!?" I screamed. "THEN THAT'S YOUR CHOICE! YOU CAN DIE WITH ME IF YOU CHOOSE!" She grabbed me, Ethan and Glowyy. She hugged us tight, She then told us to run...
but I'm not a coward.
But I went there.
I am a coward.
Just a duntse.
Next time I opened my eyes, I was in the middle of the street, I felt weak. I'd tripped.. There was a shadow. i turned around and something snapped in me. It was either my anger or my pain. I was being gripped my a 15-meter titan... "RED!" Shouted a familiar voice. It then repeaterd, but this time it was someone else... Dad? Suddenly I fell to the ground.. I swear that I was next on the boat... what happened that moment? I do not know.
"Red? Red!" Shouted a voice. It was Ethan... I looked at myself, iw as covered in blood, I had been crying. "What... What happened?" I asked. "You don't remember?" Asked Glowyy. I looked around Glowyy. Ethan was crying... alot... Why?
Our world started to fade before our eyes. There was nothing we could do about it.
